A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Dr. Manejwala began his career in organizational leadership as the Executive Chief Resident in Psychiatry at Duke. From there he developed and led a Somatic Therapy Service at Carolinas Health Care, one of the largest health systems in North Carolina. He is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine.
He has been described as a catalyst for organizational development; most recently, as Medical Director for Hazelden Foundation, he developed and launched a healthcare professionals treatment program that treated over 350 addicted healthcare professionals in 18 months. At Hazelden, he also successfully championed the implementation of an electronic health record and drove large improvements in benchmarked customer satisfaction metrics. He has recently accepted a position as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Catasys . Dr. Manejwala credits his business education at the University of Virginia's prestigious Darden School for his successes in enterprise leadership.
